  1. In a large pot, cook the meat with cumin and 2 tablespoons of chili powder. Drain the fat and add the other tablespoon of chili powder.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and salsa and continue cooking until the onion begins to soften.
  3. Add tomatoes, beans, and corn and bring to a simmer. Let simmer 30-60 minutes.
  4. Add beer in the last 10 minutes of simmering.
